What did you learn today?
Learned various techniques in photoshop and that traditional drawing or painting is easier than digital painting, Digital painting is also much more complex
What did you do today?
We did digital painting involving taking photos of ourselves in different poses and photoshopping them into different pictures. We also "painted" ourselves into our desired outcome.
How do you feel about today's activities?
Somewhat interesting.

Day 1 Reflections
Pre-Camp
What sounds interesting about this project?
I am interested in the topic of digital painting and the fact that we will learn how to blend in different photos together.
What do you think you can learn from this project?
We will be able to learn multiple photoshop techniques that will not only be used in the project but also in some photo edits which I do.
Any immediate questions regarding the project?
No
Plenary Sessions
The first session was talking about earthquakes and coral reefs. We learned that from the coral reefs, we will be able to tell when a tsunami(that was caused by an earthquake) happened
The second session was related to animation. We learned that 2D animation is more expensive and resource intensive than 3D animation as 3D animation is simpler. 2D animation despite being very hard to develop still remains popular today.
The final session was about nano particles. We learned about the various tools which will enable us to see nano particles and how nano particles can be used in our daily lives such as in tennis rackets and velcro.
